What if this was the staircase leading to that home – and what if all this was mine.

Black Tie
Elegance does not consist in putting on a new dress said my hero Coco Chanel. And that is why I will be putting on an old dress to a black tie dinner tomorrow night. Good times, very nice indeed!
I am very proud of my beautiful friend, Baddy from baddydesign, as her film “Angels” wins the Icelandic advertising award “Lúðurinn”. This was the second time she has done work for traffic safety awareness. The previous work “Victims” won all kind of prizes – gold in Eurobest and bronze in New York Festival – so very good thinking even how tiny car community Iceland has.
Doing Victims, she was telling me very enthusiastically how….
We have this very (!) dangerous road in Iceland and therefor traffic safety is a big challenge
Yes Baddy, but how many roads do you even have in Iceland? (I asked)
Well… one.
But. A dangerous one.
Drive safely. ALWAYS with a seat belt on
Tea for me
Being sick at home (like now) is the only time I drink tea. This beautiful teapot by Nendo is a new addition to the 1% products portfolio, launched in Milan this spring.
If This Spins, I Am In!
Was already half serious in suggesting friends at Pentagon Design to please, just please, convince your clients to come out with a salad spinner. But – here it is! The Danes have already done it so this is something I will get now.
5 404 732
Today Sweden is celebrating the birth of their new little princess and the population of Finland is 5 404 732.
Palm Trees
Today, over a very nice brunch with friends, in one of the hidden jewels of Helsinki, we talked about palm trees. These trees are from Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen.
“This was here to have beauty on all of it´s own. To which the citizens of Copenhagen and Denmark would feel attracted. In fact, almost compulsory attracted”. More in a video here.
Upside-down Learning
Tomorrow is a day for new learnings as Senior Lecturer, Michael L. Joroff from MIT will be guiding me and the 18 other participants to different themes around work and workplace. Looking forward to an interesting day.
